Dear UIC and Beyond! Come one, come all to serve the tsunami victims!!!

New Life Volunteering Society has joined efforts with a couple of other groups around the city, and we will be sending over some kits to tsunami victims in the coming weeks. These kits will be composed of "everyday" items including toothpaste, nail clippers, hand towels, wash cloths, combs, band-aids, etc. Basically, here at UIC, we will be having a collection drive for the next 2 weeks. The drive begins today, March 16th at 9am and will continue until Tuesday, March 29th at 5pm. There will be a couple of drop-off sites on the East side of campus as well as one drop-off site on the West side of campus. We will be focusing the collection here at UIC on 4 particular items - toothpaste, nail clippers, hand towels, and wash cloths. All items are to be new! Details below!!
