New Life Volunteering Society (NLVS) is currently taking a lead role in providing immediate relief to the victims and families who have been devastated by both Hurricand Katrina and Hurricane Rita. These recent disasters have tremendously impacted the lives of so many across the country. NLVS has local chapters across the United States that are in collaboration to ensure an efficient and organized relief effort. NLVS will be dividing its efforts into multiple phases. During this initial phase, NLVS will continue to reassess the needs of the affected cities and states on an ongoing basis in order to determine the appropriate plans of response in the coming months. In these initial days, while this process of acquiring information continues, NLVS will be focusing its efforts on collecting financial contributions.

NLVS encourages all parties to provide financial contributions to an organization with which they are comfortable. NLVS has created an national “Emergency Hurricane Relief Fund” and is currently in the process of partnering with several corporations across the country that will be providing matching funds. 100% of the funds raised will be used directly towards the hurricane relief efforts. An online donation option is now available for parties interested in providing their financial contribution through NLVS.
